A4CT (Artivism for Critical Thinking) is a nomadic and volunteer-run initiative connecting art, activism, and critical thinking.

A4CT has no permanent space, fixed programme, or single format. It takes shape through an online journal, conversations, workshops, gatherings, zines, and collaborations. We explore the conditions in which art and culture are produced today using critique, humor, and memes to make these conditions visible, provoke discussion, and challenge their apparent inevitability. Rather than passively adapting to existing cultural infrastructures, we want to create space to question how they might work differently and what other forms of collective organization could emerge.

We work without institutional or state funding (read more), exploring ways of organizing cultural work beyond funding structures, institutional agendas, and predetermined outcomes. This is not a proposal to replace paid cultural labor with voluntary work, but a way of experimenting with other forms of creating, supporting, and working together.

At its core, A4CT is an unfinished and nomadic practice. Its structures remain provisional and open to change, developing through the relationships, needs, conflicts, and possibilities that emerge from its activity.
